It is located in Carrodilla, Luján de Cuyo, 11 km to the south of Mendoza city.
The winery was built in 1930 and worked until 1965. It remained abandoned until 1997, when we bought and remodel it.
THE ADOBE WALLS WERE REPLACED BY A METAL STRUCTURE WITH ISOLATING PANELS SET ON THE ORIGINAL FOUNDATIONS;
PRESERVING THE ORIGINAL APPEARANCE OF THE BUILDING.
The roof is made of tiles, the ceiling of canes, with wooden beams and rafters.
The roof adobe isolation between the tiles and the canes was replaced by glass fibber.
Total capacity of the winery: 650.000 liters:
- 230.000 liters in stainless steel tanks with double jacket for cooling
- 420.000 liters in concrete tanks with lids, doors and connections of stainless steel, covered in the interior with epoxy.
The winery has a temperature control installation by stainless steel plaques.
- 270 French and American 225 liters oak barrels.
- Cooling System: 90.000 Kcal. by circulation of water.
Reception of grapes: in 350kg. plastic bins. 150.000/ 180.000 liters of varietal wines are produced annually.
